Summer Vacation + Home Safety
Make home safety part of your vacation planning! Knowing you took precaution to protect your home and property will give you reassurance so you can enjoy while you’re away. Remember: lock up your valuables, have a trusted neighbor/friend walk by and pick up any packages that might come, secure (or store away) any outdoor furniture, and consider installing a leak detector sensor on the pan of your HVAC or hot water heater. There are only a few more weeks of summer, but these are great tips for whenever you’re away!
Market Update
There is so much conflicting news about our housing market right now! What’s new, right?!?! That seems to be the case with everything in the news lately! So what should we really believe? It’s hard to know unless you’re in the thick of it everyday — luckily, WE are!!
It’s a great time to be a buyer and/or a seller
There are opportunities for BOTH right now! Here’s why - there are fewer buyers in the market, so the “craziness” that was occurring isn’t happening anymore! Buyers don’t have to compete with 20-30 offers on a single property - there are more homes to choose from and fewer people competing for them.
As for sellers, sales prices are staying strong and still increasing in some areas! The buyers that are looking right now are strong, serious and committed. So when we make sure your house is “show ready” and priced correctly (these are important factors), you will still have buyers competing for your property!
